Utilising peer working groups to stimulate engagement of digital learning (for the most vulnerable pupils)
Utilising peer working groups was chosen for this enquiry as online learning has highlighted inconsistency of pupil engagement. Looking at the pupils in the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation (SIMD) 1-3 is a key issue in school. This links with the Scottish Attainment Challenge which sits at the heart of the Scottish Government’s agenda.
The aim of this enquiry was to determine the effect of group projects within an online learning setting, focusing particularly on pupils in the SIMD 1-3.
